The last of the co-founders and co-owners of Trigo Team retired. It was 15 (!) years fighting (2133-2148). Ronald was the JJ head coach. He ended his career at the age of 44 (!!!). In beetwen, besides teaching everyone in the camp, Ronald had a fight rec of 69-58, maikng a total of 127 fights. A fighter that was know for his will, being one of the lightest LW ever, with 151 pd.! Being the last team founder to retire, this may bring some news with it. Mythical camp fighter, we just love him.

After a good campain in Addiction, Ronald Patterson became the 2nd fighter of the Academy to reach a tier 5 org. The 1st fighter our #1 fighter, the mythical Sammy Hughes who signed for GEC before he retired. Now, Ronald Patterson signed up with A-1 Legends. 1 year and 3 months later, Ronald returned to WCA and claimed what was his: The WCA LW Title. Ronald defetead the current champion Mauro Guzman, rank #645, with a quick omaplata submission early in the 1st Round. The experience over that year made the difference, as the fight agains Pat Richard for Ronalds 1st title was way too diferent: the result was a Split Decision. Were really happy that our Jiu Jitsu teacher came back to WCA really well!!! Congratulions Ronald, were proud of you!!

Ronald Patterson is the new WCA World Championship! Ronald, a veteran fighter, co-founder and co-owner of Trigo Top Team, wins his 1st title at the age of 38. In the post fight press conf, Ronald said: "I would like to dedicate this title to all the Trigos Top Team retired figthers who, unfornatelly, didnt had the chance to win one, particularly my good friend Tank Moore".
