(continued) Champion vs champion is different, since we both equally have something to lose in both fights, whereas a non title-holding challenger has nothing to lose in the first fight. We had a two fight deal, whatever the outcome of the first match may have been, and I expect you to keep your word and honor the deal we both agreed to.

(continued) But I didn't. I did the right thing and informed you that you needed to come down to lightweight in order for it to be a title match. Now all I'm asking is that you honor the deal we had in place when I took the fight, and give me the rematch (which I also expect to lose - but I digress) that we both agreed to before the fight took place. Now, if a regular challenger beats me for my title, and they give me a rematch, and I beat them, I will ALWAYS give a rubber match.

Whoa, that wasn't part of the deal. I'm not saying I'm necessarily averse to have a rubber match, but what I'm hearing from that comment is "I won't honor our deal unless I can have it changed in my favor." The deal we had was for two guaranteed fights. Either two at lightweight, in the event of my loss, or one at lightweight and one at welterweight, in the event that I won. In all honesty, I did not expect to win the fight. I could've taken it with you at WW and still kept the belt when
