Round 1 Maurice reaches down and trips Lewis with a beautiful ankle pick. Maurice dives into back control. Lewis tries to explode out the backdoor but Stevenson sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Lewis falls flat to protect himself. Craig Lewis starts to wiggle out of back control, Maurice Stevenson lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Craig is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Stevenson. Stevenson now has side control. Maurice slides his knee across the body of Craig Lewis and takes full mount. Maurice Stevenson secures his position. Lewis attempts to buck Maurice Stevenson off from mount but Maurice Stevenson keeps his base and maintains position. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Maurice Stevenson keeps Craig Lewis at a distance with some well timed jabs. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Maurice grabs for a clinch but Craig grazes him with an uppercut. Maurice staggers back, then surprises Craig with a powerful superman punch. Lewis throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Maurice Stevenson puts Lewis on the mat giving his back up. Maurice slides to the side and spanks the butt of Craig Lewis in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Maurice Stevenson lands undefended strikes to the side of Lewiss head. The ref stops the fight.
