Round 1 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Slavik tries to stop a shot with a punch but "The Nightbringer" plows through Braginskys attempt and ends up in guard. Slavik Braginsky gets his arm underneath the neck of Nelson Brown while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Nelson Brown powers out of the attempted choke. Braginsky sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Slavik secures his position. Nelson gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Nelson Brown throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Braginsky is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Nelson Brown throws a cross that easily dodged by Braginsky. Slavik Braginsky dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Nelson Brown connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "The Nightbringer" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Slavik. Slavik fakes an overhand and is able to take down Brown with a double-ankle pick. Brown can only work to half guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 A welt begins to form under Slaviks eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "The Nightbringer". Slavik attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Nelson takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Slavik Braginsky takes a few knees to the body while under Browns side control. Braginsky gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Braginsky tries to explode out the backdoor but Nelson Brown sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Braginsky falls flat to protect himself. Slavik tripods up, causing Nelson Brown to fall forward. A scramble ensues and Slavik is able to take guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
