Round 1
Meirelles attempts a lazy shot, which "The Annihilator" sprawls, eventually taking Meirelles back. Jan Abicht slides off to the side of Fransico Meirelles and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Jan Abicht switches back to full back control. Fransico Meirelles starts to wiggle out of back control, Jan lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Abicht locks around the waist of Fransico. He sneaks his foot behind Fransico Meirelless and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Abicht slides his knee across the body of Meirelles and takes full mount. Meirelles attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Fransico Meirelles attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Jan Abicht plows through Fransico Meirelles with a driving double leg takedown. Fransico Meirelles goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Jan slips out at the last second. Meirelles starts to create some distance with his legs, Jan Abicht capitalizes by passing to side control. Jan Abicht lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Abicht slides his knee across the body of Fransico Meirelles and takes full mount. Fransico attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Fransico Meirelles gets pummeled by the fists of Jan Abicht. Fransico Meirelles gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Jan Abicht plows through Fransico Meirelles with a driving double leg takedown. Jan attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Fransico slips out of it at the last moment. Fransico Meirelles attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Jan the chance to pass to side control. Jan Abicht lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Jan Abicht slides his knee across the body of Fransico Meirelles and takes full mount. Abicht maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Jan Abicht secures his position. The round comes to an end.
