Round 1
A jab from Abicht is blocked and a cross is returned by Naoki. A shot from Naoki Hira is countered by a guillotine from Jan Abicht. Naoki Hira follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. Naoki lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "The Annihilator" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "The Annihilator" tries to stand up but Naoki plants him back down with several strikes. Jan tries to explode out the backdoor but Naoki sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Jan falls flat to protect himself. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Jan fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Naoki to a corner. Naoki swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Naoki gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. "The Annihilator" slams his knee into Hiras ribs. Jan slips out of half guard and into side control. "The Annihilator" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Hira tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. "New Breed" tries to scramble out of half guard, but Abicht takes his back during it. "New Breed" carefully protects himself from "The Annihilators" strikes. "The Annihilator" is working a furious pace on Naoki Hira, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Naoki snaps back the head of Abicht with a stiff jab. Jan Abicht begins to clinch with Naoki Hira, but Naoki Hira presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. Hira is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jan Abicht ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Naoki Hira to the mat, and his back. "New Breed" carefully protects himself from Jan Abichts strikes. Hira is able to make it back to the standing position. Round 3 is over.
