Round 1
"the mongoloid" lands a devastating overhand right on Blais. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "fabio" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Eugene Hayden sets a guillotine choke but "fabio" slips out at the last moment. "fabio" is now caught in guard. Hayden attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. "fabio" traps "the mongoloid" in a corner, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Blais is sent backwards from a series of punches from "the mongoloid". Hans shoots in on Eugene Hayden who sprawls well and lands multiple outside strikes. Hans gives up on the shot and rolls to his guard. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
"the mongoloid" snaps back the head of "fabio" with a stiff jab. Hans Blais eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "the mongoloid". Eugene sprawls a takedown attempt from Blais. Blais eats several punches on the way back to his feet. A jab from Blais is blocked and a cross is returned by "the mongoloid". "fabio" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "the mongoloid". "fabios" legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Eugene sprawls a takedown attempt from Hans Blais. Hans Blais eats several punches on the way back to his feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
After dodging a jab-cross, Blais lands a kick to the liver of "the mongoloid" who steps back and begins to take a knee. Blais rushes forward to capitalize but "the mongoloid" stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. A strong elbow forces "the mongoloid" to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Hans Blais lays into Eugene Haydens thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "the mongoloid" does so. "the mongoloids" legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. "fabio" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Eugene Hayden. "the mongoloid" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from "fabio". Hans Blais grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Eugene under the eye. The bell signals the end of round 3.
