NEWS: January 2182, Daniel "Shogun" Lee got another shot at the vacant WCA Title. The title shot was against former 6 time HW Champion, Lucio "Bonita Guerreiro" Tavares. Lee won the fight and the WCA Heavyweight Championship via Submission (Hammer Lock), in the middle of the 1st round. Post fight Lee said "I think i'm gonna take some time off, heel up some injuries. Then we'll see if I fight again." Only time will tell if we ever see this legend fight again.

NEWS: November 2181, After 4 wins in a row, Daniel "Shogun" Lee finally got his title shot against Paulo Junior. The fight did not go Lee's way. The fight ended in the 5th round by Submission (Armbar). The big controversy was, Lee claimed he never tapped out. Post fight he said "It's bullshit. I didn't tap, and there was less than 10 sec left in the fight I was winning. Watch the tape, I am not tapping at all. I want a rematch!" Only time will tell if these two will meet again.

NEWS: October 2181, now with 4 impressive wins in a row in WCA, Daniel "Shogun" Lee deserves his title shot. After beating Bob Cooper, Lee said post fight: "I'm here in WCA to fight for the belt! Ole Brooks ducked me, and lost his belt, now I want Paulo Junior. He has the belt that belongs to me! Give me my title shot Junior." Will Junior respond to Lee, and give him his shot? or continue to duck him like past "champions". Only time will tell.

After defeating Stewart Lundy via KO in the very 1st round, Lee had this to say post fight: "I'm here in WCA to fight Ole Brooks. So give me my shot! He is afraid to fight me, everyone knows it. I want the belt!". Will Brooks respond to Lee? or continue to duck him. Only time will tell.

The rumor is that it may be due to a career ending injury. At 33 years old, and a record of 12-2, this may be the last we see of "Shogun Lee".
