NEWS: December 2181 (part 1), Tomasito "Tio Guapo" Alvarez has officially retired from MMA at the age of 33. He retires with a 30-7 record, that includes 15 Heavyweight Championship wins. Alvarez also never lost a championship bout in his whole career. His biggest win was his 3rd and final fight with Gunther "The Liger" Bamberger. Alvarez won the fight in August 2181, when Bamberger was the #1 ranked fighter in the world.

NEWS: December 2181 (part 2), Alvarez was the underdog (+400) and Bamberger was the favorite (-687), and Alvarez proved to the world once again what the definition of a Champion is.

NEWS: October 2181, Tomasito "Tio Guapo" Alvarez has now lost 6 of his last 9 fights. Alvarez went up against Mike "Fingerbanged " Kelly, and lost via Decision. All 6 of Alvarez's loses are by Decision, against the best Heavyweights in the world. While a lot of people think Alvarez is one or two solid wins away from getting a title shot, others say he won't get there, and is past his prime.

NEWS: August 2181 (part 2), Before the fight Alvarez said "I've lost 4 fights this year, to the best competition. I am a better fighter. If I cannot prove it, with one last shot at Bamberger, then this will be my last time in the cage." It was a war! Alvarez walked away with the Decision win, over the former 12 time EFC Heavyweight Champion. No word if Alvarez will fight again, post fight he said "I'm gonna have to wait and see what's next. I really don't know."

NEWS: July 2181, Tomasito "Tio Guapo" Alvarez has now lost 2 in a row. Last month he lost his rematch to Gunther "The Liger" Bamberger, and now to Javito "Lobo" Castro. All 4 loses of Alvarez from this year have all been by close decision, but many wonder how much longer he can keep going, while others say he is passed his prime yet is still fighting the best of the best and is coming up short barley. Only time will tell if we see Alvarez bounce back from his first ever back to back loses.

NEWS: January 2181, Just 2 weeks after an impressive win, Tomasito "Tio Guapo" Alvarez returns to face former A-1 and Strike Fest Champion Bubba "Box" Lee. It was an epic fight, and it put an end to Alvarez's 13 fight win streak. Post fight Alvarez said "Well, I know I took the fight on short notice, but I owe it to my fans. I had a long win streak, but I haven't been as active as I would have liked to have been over the past 5 years. Lee fought a great fight. Congrats to him."

NEWS: December 2180, Tomasito "Tio Guapo" Alvarez, has done it again! It has been 9 months since we last Alvarez. No one was sure if he'd be back, but he is! He took on Brad "The Monster" Stewart from the legendary System MMA, and beat him via Decision. Post fight Alvarez said "I had him beat. If there was 5 more seconds, it would have been stopped from strikes. I wish I had those 5 more seconds, but it was a great fight for me." No word if we'll ever see Alvarez in a cage again.

Alvarez ends his career on a 10 fight win streak, and retired as the 3 time GEC Heavyweight Champion. Alvarez also never lost a championship bout in his whole career. No word as to why Alvarez retired at such a young age. Only time will tell if we ever see him in the cage again.

NEWS: March 2173, Tomasito "Tio Guapo" Alvarez returned to MMA after a 1 year lay off. Alvarez looked pretty impressive for his comeback, but showed signs of ring rust. Many fans felt Alvarez won his return fight, but the judges didn't see it that way. Fans everywhere are hoping to see the rematch of Alvarez vs Jimenez. If this super fight goes down, will Alvarez be able to avenge his only loss? Or will it prove that maybe he should just retire? Only time will tell.

I'm undefeated, and I owe it to my fans to keep being the best. I need to take time off and re group. I need to work on my skills. I will be back...
