Nov 2173: Plus, they considered that if it wasn’t for the Academy’s conditions at the time, Rick Williams career would sure put him among the best of the club. At the time he retired, Rick was the 2nd fighter ever to reach a Tier 6 title in Strikefest, something only achieved by God of God Will Long. So, although Rick never got to an Academy Achievment or record, he goes now into HOF! Congrats man!

Nov 2173: The Trigo Top Team board (composed by its founders Pedro Trigo, Will Long, Paul Hall and Robert Mendoza) met with the TTT Hall of Famers and decided to attribute a post title to Rick Williams. Usually a fighter enters in HOF directly after his retirement. In Rick’s case, as the Academy was deciding shutting its doors, Rick’s HOF admition was put on hold. Now, they decided to put Rick in HOF, for all the thing he done.

Oct 2171: Our current best fighter retired. At 32 years of age, and 10 years after his 1st pro MMA fight, Rick Williams ended his career. He was the 2nd fighter to win a Strikefest title. His p4p rank is #111, being the 7th best ranked terms fighter of the Academy. Besides the 2 SF titles, he won another 5 titles in lower orgs. An amazing fighter who was never knocked out. If the Academy was at it's top conditions, The Phenom would get closer to Will Long for sure.

Sep 2171: Almost 5 years after his 1st Strikefest title, Rick Williams wins it back. The fight was against Russ Ryan, from mythical camp MAXX. The fight ended in the end of Rd. 5 with a big knockout punch. It's always nice to see our current best fighter to win our best title ever, an SF title. We're sure that, if it wasnt for the recent poor conditions of our camp, Rick would be an even greater fighter, getting close to Will Long, rank and god wise.

Nov 2166: Rick Williams career in Strikefest didn't started out well, with 3 losses in a row. But the insistency payed off, as Rick joined Academy's God Will Long as an SF champion. Rick disputed the vacant title against Christian Vasquez, from world renowned Tequila Team, who gave him a title loss back in A-1. Now, in Ricks 2nd SF title dispute, he subbed Vasquez in Rd 4 via a rear naked choke. The after party in the Academy lasted the whole night long! Huge win.

Mar 2165: And the phenom continues collecting belts in the orgs hes fighting! This time the victim was Luther Jones. Although Rick dominated the whole fight, Luther was strong enough to resist Rick's atempts to submit him, but the judges gave Rick the unanimous decision. Its was the Academy's first ProXC title! Rick showed ambition, immediatly dropping his title and signing a 6 fight contract with A-1.

May 2164: Our most proeminent fighter Rick Williams rescued his LEAP title back. The fight against world renowned Samara Top Team #1 fighter Brandon "The Truth" Vera ended in Rd. 3 with a guillotine choke. Although Rick is only #5 in the veterans list, and he has a short record of 17-6, he already is our best current fighter. Good news in times where our camp is not so strong.

Oct 2163: Rick Williams is collecting belts as hes moving up on the orgs! This time the victim was Zhenechka Popov. Although Rick had the upper hand the whole time, we won by Split Decision. Rick is building a great MMA career.

May 2163: Rick Williams and Katsuo Nakano fight had high expectations. Both fighters got hard to each other in the interviews before the fight. In the end, Rick subbed the former 7 time LDNet champion Katsuo Nakano at 2:23 of Rd. 1, via shoulder lock. The amazing career of Rick so far got him the invitation of LEAP President to sign in for the org. It will be our first fighter on LEAP. Good Luck Rick! We hope to see much more for one of our most promising fighters.

May 2162: What a tough fight! Rick Williams and Stanislov Markov gave it all on the octagon! The fight was amazing and, in the last second, Rick subbed Markov in what was his first career title, and the Academy's first title in LDNet Fights. With a record of 6-1 and one title, Rick is ready to step up to Pankrash.
