NEWS: May 2177, AJ "The Death Clutch" Lundy stepped out of retirement at 49 years of age for a 'Legend Fight' with Cristoforo "El Toro" Hernandez. Lundy said before the fight "El Toro, you're gonna get what you asked for... a brutal beating!". Lundy won the fight by brutal strikes that resulted in a devastating KO in the fourth round. Hernandez left the cage in a stretcher. The Death Clutch still has it!

NEWS: June 2174, AJ "The Death Clutch" Lundy is back! He competed last month in the final round of the 'Pugnax' Tournament. Lundy announced his participation in the tournament back in November 2173. He fought in the 1st round of the tournament and beat rival Brad Jenkins, via Decision. In the last round of the tournament, Lundy competed against another rival, Abe Cox. It was a rubber match, years in the making. Lundy won the match and the tournament with a Decision win over Cox.

Lundy said before the fight "Brown, you're gonna get what you asked for... a beating!". Lundy won the fight by submission due to strikes in the fourth round. The Death Clutch still has it!

(2 of 2) NEWS: May 2167, Lundy won his retirement match in EFC by defeating Brad Jenkins by submission via strikes at 1:44 of the 1st round. This fight was the final in the great trilogy in which Lundy won the 1st, and 3rd fight. AJ "The Death Clutch" Lundy retires with a record of 51-21.

NEWS: June 2166, AJ Lundy has done it again! He has captured the EFC Heavyweight Title. Lundy beat rival Mills Baker in a 5 round war. Many claimed Baker ducked Lundy back in January by giving the title shot to a lower ranked fighter. Baker lost to Long, and Lundy then beat Long for the title. After Lundy lost his title to Kelly in a controversial fight, Baker went on to get a title shot and beat Kelly, setting up for the super fight of the year. Lundy is now the #1 Heavyweight in the world.

NEWS: January 2166, "The Death Clutch" has made his mark in his debut EFC fight, winning a 3 round war with EFC's current #2 HW. With Lundy being the current #3 HW in EFC and just having beaten the #2, it was obvious that Lundy would call out the EFC's #1 HW, Mills Baker, the EFC HW Champ. Post fight Lundy said "Baker has nothing for me. I'm coming for that belt Baker. Be a man and fight me!". Only time will tell if these two face off.

NEWS: March 2162, "The Death Clutch" has avenged his loss against 'Abe Cox', and has captured the Addiction Heavyweight Title. In February, Lundy lost his shot at the vacant title by KO, the big controversy was that Lundy was never hit, he slipped as Cox threw the punch, and the ref jumped in and stopped the fight too early. This time, Cox wasn't so lucky. AJ "The Death Clutch" Lundy wins the rematch and the Addiction Heavyweight title by submission in the 2nd round.

NEWS: March 2159, "The Death Clutch" has suffered his 2nd career loss, to the hands of 'Matt Ward', when asked after the fight at the press conference, about the loss, Lundy, had this to say: "Well it is obvious to me I won that fight. I don't know what the judges were watching, but every fan in there tonight knows I won. I want a rematch. Plain and simple.". We will see if "The Death Clutch" gets his rematch.
