I'm a bit of an interloper myself, not mega-religous about it. But it seems to me that if a lot of "in-depth" tutorials that are on the forums made it to the main home-page "tutorial" section on this place's home page we would snag more players. The alliance stuff I've seen since coming back is awesome (with the rest of the forum) but it's too "in-depth/hardcore committed" to get nO0bs back time after time. Me too tho, with the current amount of players I think it would be healthier if a lot of players took the instant challenge stance. I can understand tactical (and fair) challenge and acceptance from Glory/Strike/EFC levels but have never understood it lower in the orgs. Too much "ettiquette" and preaching down there(here) doesn't help the game grow for noobs/less effective players.
