Hey, thanks for letting me atleast have a title shot chance but i would get murded for sure... i would fight you but im trying to get my fighter a bettter record and get his rep up... but thanks, maybe next time
I'm incubating because I left the game for a bit and am now trying to get back into it.
In general, I used to not incubate, but now I'll probably be doing it until the fighter has at least fully developed (3 stars in each stat) a single style.

Current Team Size: 10
Situation: Morning Reset. 4:00AM
Results: 10 Wins - 0 Losses
This is the first time I had team all challenge up in competition. All of the team won. This will probably happen again. I mark this on the wall because it is the first time it happened and it made my day. Thank you team.
Great plan. At the beginning, you want to learn. Its harder and more frustrating to learn when you're in a hurry and getting your ass kicked. Slow things down, record your findings, and consider why each fight went down the way it did. James is right about weight, too. A small guy can get pummeled and a big guy can do better than he normally would.
Leagon is spot on with his advice. The other things that I would add is patience, and cutting weight (ex: Jodoin is 171lbs, try him at 155, look for the EDIT link in his fighter profile). You can contact me on the boards (jhn716) as well, and I second what Leagon said, TONS of info on the boards, it helped me greatly when I first started a couple months ago.
Styles and stats. The two most important things in this game. Learn which styles do well against other styles and learn which stats help each style.
Also, its easier to focus your entire camp on one or two styles. That way, you can learn which stats help the style and learn how it relates to all the other styles.
And don't retire people. When starting a camp, you want as many guys as possible. I also recommend joining the forums. A LOT of info there. Feel free to PM me (Leagon) there.
