Round 1 A looping right hook from Flores sends Bill to the mat. "Cigano" stands over Bill Russell, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Bill Russell is able to grab an arm and pull "Cigano" into his guard. "The Extreme" locks a triangle but Flores defends well. "The Extreme" decides to let go of the hold. Russell attempts to create some space from his guard, but Flores sees the opening and passes to full mount. Russell attempts to escape mount but has no luck. "The Extreme" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Junior Flores begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Bill Russell rolls to being mounted instead. Flores maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Junior is staggered by a jab to the chin. Russell fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Junior to the cage. Junior swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. "Cigano" begins to posture on his side. Russell lands a couple of outside hooks and "Cigano" returns to the guard. Flores attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but "The Extreme" is too quick and takes half guard. Bill Russell is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Junior Flores gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Cigano" starts to wiggle out of back control, Russell lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Russell circles Junior, landing jabs and crosses at will. Junior Flores is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Bill explodes forward with a flurry punches that leaves Junior Flores crumpled on the mat.
