Round 1 James is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Gav Andreyev drops a huge strike to "The Right Hooks" chin, landing into his guard. A deep cut is open up over the eye of "The Right Hook" from strikes in the guard. The ref stops the fight so the doctor can look at it. The doctor says he can continue. Andreyev drops a few strong punches, opening up Jamess guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Gav Andreyev secures his position. James gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Andreyev begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Cook rolls to being mounted instead. Gav maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Gav Andreyev fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Cook. Cook works to Andreyevs back while standing. Cook throws a couple of outside shots until "The Hammer" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Cook attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Andreyev pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. A welt begins to form under "The Right Hooks" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "The Hammer". Gav Andreyev takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks James Cook to hit him harder. A jab from "The Hammer" is blocked and a cross is returned by James. "The Hammer" parries James Cooks jab and lands a liver shot that buckles James Cook. James Cook rolls to his back with "The Hammer" standing over him. "The Hammer" drops a powerful fist onto James Cook. Jamess eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
