Round 2 A jab from Alexandre Tavares is blocked and a cross is returned by Len Cote. Tavares eats a strong cross as Len moves into the clinch. Len Cote escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Tavares throws a crisp jab, but Len Cote slips it and moves in for the clinch. Len Cote works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. From the clinch, Len hurls Tavares over his hips dropping him hard to the mat. Alexandre takes a few knees to the body while under "Combos" side control. Round 3 Tavares works Len Cote into a corner, swimming for double underhooks. Tavares presses his head into Lens chest, forcing him to the ground. Len sinks a deep kimura, but Tavares slides out. This gives Len the chance to switch to half guard. Alexandre Tavares is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Alexandre secures his position. "Combo" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Alexandre tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Len Cote tries to explode out the backdoor but Tavares sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Len Cote falls flat to protect himself. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
