Round 1 Collins connects with a series of punches forcing Gunther into a clinch. Petersen works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Fritz Collins recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Gunther Petersen connects with a right that puts Collins off balance tumbling to the mat, as Gunther Petersen towers over him. Gunther drops a huge strike to Fritzs chin, landing into his guard. Gunther takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Fritz Collinss guard. It doesn't pay off as Fritz makes his way to standing. "Rapid Fire" shoots a takedown from a distance putting Fritz on the ground. "Rapid Fire" dodges a few strikes from Collins and lands an elbow followed by a hammerfist. Fritz attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Gunther Petersen is too quick and takes half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Rapid Fire" parries Collinss jab and connect with a cross. Fritz Collins throws a cross that easily dodged by "Rapid Fire". After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Fritz Collins grabs the plum and pulls Gunthers face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Fritz Collins lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Petersen is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Fritz Collins explodes forward with a push kick that puts Petersen on the canvas. Collins lays into Petersens thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Petersen does so. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Fritz lands a solid kick to the front leg of Petersen. Petersen circles Fritz, mixing jabs and leg kicks. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Fritz grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Gunther Petersen. Fritz Collins is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Gunther tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Fritz Collins that puts him on the floor. Gunther thrusts his leg into Fritz Collinss knee while grounded. The bell signals the end of round 3.
