Round 1 Hawk Hayes arm drags Mark Kelly into a double leg takedown, getting half guard. Kelly hits an upward elbow on Hayes, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Hayes takes side control. Hawk Hayes attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Mark Kelly for his troubles. Mark gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Hawk spins around to take it, Mark makes his way back to his feet. Mark Kelly stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Kelly is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Hawk. A right hand from Kelly while in guard angers Hawk Hayes who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Hayes dodges a few strikes from "R" and cuts him over his eye with a axe-handle strike. "R" is starting to bleed over his left eye. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Hawk Hayes catches a leg kick from Kelly, and puts him on the mat. "R" works for a triangle but Hawk throws "Rs" straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Hawk Hayes hits Kelly with some punches to the side of the head. Hawk slips out of half guard and into side control. Hayes lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Mark takes a few knees to the body while under Hawks side control. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Hawk Hayes connects with a series of punches forcing "R" into a clinch. Mark attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Hayess strikes. "R" recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Hawk connects with a right that puts Mark off balance tumbling to the mat, as Hawk towers over him. Hawk Hayes drops a huge strike to Mark Kellys chin, landing into his guard. Hayes takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Kellys guard. It doesn't pay off as Mark makes his way to standing. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Mark. Hawk stands up, lifting the leg of Mark and executing a trip takedown. Kelly dodges some ground strikes from Hawk, and sends a few back of his own. Hawk Hayes presses the action while in the guard, but Kelly is able to switch him into mount.Round 3 comes to a close.
