Round 1 Melnikov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Keith Twitty. Melnikov works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. "Rambo" decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing "Twitty Twister" with him. "Rambo" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Twitty slips out at the last second. "Rambo" lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Gavrel connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Gavrel backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Melnikov connects with a series of punches forcing Keith Twitty into a clinch. "Rambo" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Keith drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Melnikov sets a guillotine choke but Keith slips out at the last moment. Keith is now caught in guard. Gavrel attempts an armbar. "Twitty Twister" time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Gavrel Melnikovs guard. Keith Twitty tries to pass guard but Gavrel stops him with a well timed punch. Melnikov begins to work the rubber guard. "Rambo" sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Keith connects with a right that puts "Rambo" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Keith towers over him. Keith Twitty drops a huge strike to "Rambos" chin, landing into his guard. Keith attempts to pass Gavrels guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Gavrel gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Twitty Twister" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. "Rambo" tripods up, causing Keith to fall forward. As Keith tries to scramble up "Rambo" lands a lunging hook, putting Keith on the ground stunned. "Rambo" takes Keiths guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
