Round 1
Hector Gonzalez circles "Drunken Bum", mixing jabs with body shots. Hector takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hector attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Colon pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Colon sends Hector Gonzalez to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Jamal Colon takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Gonzalezs guard. It doesn't pay off as Gonzalez makes his way to standing. Jamal narrowly dodges a cross from Hector Gonzalez, but falls catching him in his guard. Colon sets in an omaplata, forcing Hector to roll through, giving Colon side control. "Thunder Dragon" almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Hector Gonzalez is able to get back to full guard.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
"Thunder Dragon" attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Jamal Colon takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Jamal Colon slides his knee across the body of Hector and takes full mount. Jamal maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Gonzalez gets pummeled by the fists of Jamal. Gonzalez gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Colon locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at "Thunder Dragon". Jamal Colon peppers Gonzalez with several shots to the face. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Hector takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Hector eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Jamal. "Drunken Bum" keeps Hector at a distance with some well timed jabs. Gonzalez is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jamal snaps back the head of Gonzalez with a stiff jab. Jamal sprawls a shot from "Thunder Dragon". Jamal locks in and executes an anaconda choke. "Thunder Dragon" taps out.
