Round 1 Baker weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Paul Jones sends "the thrill" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. "Rawbone" pulls out of the guard of Will Baker, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Will Baker. Paul Jones defends a triangle attempt, throwing "the thrills" straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Will is able to hold him to half guard. Baker tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. "Rawbone" slips out of half guard and into side control. Will Baker gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Baker is able to make it back to the standing position. Will Baker lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Paul. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Paul connects with a strong right hook. Will Baker attempts a striking combination, but "Rawbone" forces the clinch. A strong elbow forces Will to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Paul Jones lays into Bakers thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Will does so. The fighters circle each other. Paul fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Baker. Paul stomps the feet of Will Baker. Will connects a few knees to the upper torso of Paul Jones. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Jones throws a cross that easily dodged by Baker. "Rawbone" dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Will Baker. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Baker grabs the plum and lands several knees to the legs Jones. Will Baker connects with a right that puts Paul Jones off balance tumbling to the mat, as Will Baker towers over him. Baker drops a huge strike to "Rawbones" chin, landing into his guard. Baker forces "Rawbones" leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Will lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Will Baker slides his knee across the body of Paul and takes full mount. The round comes to an end.
