Round 1 Walker is staggered by a jab to the chin. Damian Walker connects with a series of punches forcing Renaud into a clinch. Damian Walker drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Jules Renaud sets a guillotine choke but Damian Walker slips out at the last moment. Damian Walker is now caught in guard. Jules Renaud attempts an omoplata and almost has it sunk but Walker is able to survive any major damage. Jules Renaud cannot finish the hold and decides to stand up. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Renaud throws a cross that easily dodged by Damian. Jules Renaud snaps back the head of Damian with a stiff jab. Jules Renaud throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Walker puts Jules Renaud on the mat giving his back up. Renaud rolls back into being mounted. Damian Walker maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Damian is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Jules Renaud is now caught in Damian Walkers guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Walker narrowly dodges a cross from Jules Renaud, but falls catching him in his guard. Jules drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Renaud takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Damians guard. It doesn't pay off as Damian makes his way to standing. The fighters circle each other. Jules snaps back the head of Damian Walker with a stiff jab. Walker attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Jules Renaud takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Damian takes a few knees to the body while under Juless side control. Damian tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
