Round 1 Rip James throws a cross that easily dodged by Keith Ward. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Bad Boy" throws on a beautiful flying armbar from the clinch, but Keith Ward is able to shift out at the last moment. James is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Ward catches a leg kick from "Bad Boy", and puts him on the mat. Keith Ward drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Keith Ward takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Bad Boys" guard. It doesn't pay off as James makes his way to standing. The fighters circle each other. The fighters circle each other. "GraveDigger" stuffs a shot from "Bad Boy" and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Keith drops some hammer fists on "Bad Boy". Rip gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "GraveDigger" attempts to press in but Rip uses a inside reaping to put "GraveDigger" on the canvas. Rip hops to side control. Rip slides his knee across the body of Keith Ward and takes full mount. Keith pulls James close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Ward gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Rip peppers Keith with several shots to the face. Rip James tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 3 is over.
