Round 2 Ian connects with a sweeping kick at the leg of "Anaconda". "Anaconda" gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. "Anaconda" carefully protects himself from "deep waters" strikes. Bennett starts to wiggle out of back control, "deep water" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Anaconda" is struck by a ball kick from Ian that causes him to stumble backwards. Bennett circles Ian, landing jabs and crosses at will. Ian Sherk connects with a right that puts "Anaconda" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Ian Sherk towers over him. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After dodging a jab, Ian lands a kick to the liver of Pat Bennett who steps back only to take a knee. Ian rushes forward to capitalize but Pat Bennett falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. "deep water" drops a huge strike to Pats chin, landing into his guard. Sherk pulls out of the guard of Pat Bennett, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Pat Bennett. Ian Sherk passes through Bennetts guard into mount. Pat Bennett pulls Sherk close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Pat Bennett gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "deep water" lands a series of heavy punches forcing Bennett to roll to his back, giving "deep water" mount. Bennett gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 3 is over.
