Round 1 Sidney Barnes is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Gary Morris. "Big Red" attempts a striking combination, but Gary Morris forces the clinch. Gary dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Big Red" standing over him. Sidney lays into Morriss thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Gary does so. Gary Morris eats a stiff kick to the face. Sidney Barnes connects with a series of punches forcing Gary into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Barnes puts Gary Morris out cold with a powerful elbow to the chin.
