Round 1 A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Big stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Santiago works to "NASTYs" back while standing. Santiago throws a couple of outside shots until Pasut is able to work his way back to the clinch. A stiff elbow looks to have Hugo Santiago dazed. Hugo fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening "NASTY" up for a flurry of hooks. Hugo lands a double jab. Pasut takes in a well composed combination of quick strikes from Santiago. Santiago connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Hugo Santiago connects with numerous jabs to the face of "NASTY". The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Big opens up on Hugo Santiago with frequent peppering strikes. Big Pasut connects with a hard punch making Hugo Santiago bring him in to a tight clinch. Big Pasut works Santiago into the cage from the clinch. Big Pasut presses his head under Santiagos chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Santiago receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Big. Big Pasut takes the back of Hugo Santiago who works for a kimura. Big Pasut pulls his arm out of the hold and push Hugo Santiago away. Hugo winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Santiago eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "NASTY". Santiago is dizzied on his feet from a furious punching sequence from Big Pasut. Big loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Santiago for the mistake. Santiago has side control. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Hugo Santiago throws a few jabs at Big Pasut that miss the mark. "NASTY" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Big Pasut blocks a strong high kick from Hugo and counters with a devastating left hook. Hugo Santiago snaps back the head of "NASTY" with a stiff jab. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. A wild hook from Pasut is ducked by Santiago who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Big Pasut lands a double jab. Hugo connects with a strong right hook. Big Pasut throws a push kick. Hugo shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Bigs nose.
Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Hugo Santiago wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of "NASTY". The round comes to an end.
