Round 1 Hossien Sultan grabs a single leg and pushes Slade to the fence. Both fighters are jockeying for positional control. Hossien Sultan switches to a double leg lifting Slade in the air and slams him down violently on his head. Slade immediately puts Hossien Sultan in his guard. Slade Bailey attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Sultan is too quick and takes half guard. Sultan is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Hossien maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Hossien Sultan telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Bailey gives up his back to stop the attempt. Slade carefully protects himself from Hossien Sultans strikes. Hossien Sultan tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can\'t quite finish it. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Slade pressures his opponent into clinching. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Hossien Sultan dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Bailey standing over him. Bailey attempts to drop a fist on Hossien Sultan, but misses and lands in his guard. Slade Bailey tries to move to half guard but Hossien Sultan uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Sultan connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Sultan shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Sultan attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Slade Bailey keeps Hossien at a distance with some well timed jabs. Slade narrowly dodges a cross from Hossien Sultan, but falls catching him in his guard. Bailey shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. A can opener from Hossien opens up Slade Baileys guard. Hossien lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Bailey lands some stiff elbows from the ground, but Sultan is able to take full mount. Bailey gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Slade Bailey starts to wiggle out of back control, Hossien Sultan lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Hossien takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Slade Bailey to hit him harder. Bailey is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Hossien explodes forward with a flurry punches that leaves Bailey crumpled on the mat.
