Round 1 Berry sends Lobo to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Lobo Montana attempts a kimura from the bottom. Berry blocks the attempt and smothers Lobo Montana to force him to let go of Stan Berrys arm. Berry stands up with Lobo still holding guard. As Lobo releases his guard Berry spins to a kneebar but it is too shallow. Berry takes couple of shots to the head. The fighters scramble to standing position. Berry connects with jab cross combination. Lobo connects with a jab cross combination. Berry shoots in for a double leg, hoists Lobo up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Round 2 Lobo Montana keeps Berry at a distance with some well timed jabs. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Both fighters begin to exchange Berry catches Lobo with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Lobo gather himself. Lobo says he is ok and the fight continues. Lobo Montana connects with a strong body shot combo. Lobo Montana hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Berry. Stan Berry stuffs a shot from Lobo and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Lobo Montana throws a few jabs at Berry that miss the mark. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Stan, but Montana is able to muscle through for a takedown. A right hand from Stan while in guard angers Montana who returns the favor with a powerful right hand. Montana defends a triangle attempt, throwing Berrys straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Berry is able to hold him to half guard. Montana tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Stan holds the head of Montana close to avoid shots. Montana slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Stan tries to scramble out of half guard, but Lobo takes his back during it. Round 3 is over.
