Round 1 Armstrong circles "jericho", mixing jabs and leg kicks. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Smith drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Hack Armstrong sets a guillotine choke but Smith slips out at the last moment. Smith is now caught in guard. Hack attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Austin throws a push kick. Hack shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Austins nose.
Hack keeps Austin at a distance with some well timed jabs. Hack loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Austin Smith for the mistake. Austin Smith has side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Armstrong connects with a strong right hook. Armstrong throws a cross that easily dodged by "jericho". Hack Armstrong pushes away from Smith and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Smith eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Hack. "jericho" lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Armstrong switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of "jericho".
Smith hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Smith throws a hard jab but Hack throws a cross right over the top that knocks Smith to the ground. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Hack just misses with a head kick, grazing Austins skull. "jericho" tries to hyperextend the knee of Hack with a kick to the kneecap. Hack hops back to avoid it. "jericho" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "jericho" parries Armstrongs jab and connect with a cross. Smith connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch "jericho" wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Hack Armstrong.Round 3 comes to a close.
