Round 2 Axl Rowly throws a push kick. Chavez shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Rowlys nose.
Chavez lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Axl Rowly. Axl fakes a push kick, switching into a roundhouse to the head of Julio. Axl Rowly lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Julio Chavez switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of Axl Rowly.
A wild hook from Chavez is ducked by Axl Rowly who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Julio does a good job to circle away from Axl Rowly but becomes too predictable and Axl Rowly lands a switch kick to Chavezs ribs. Rowly is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Julio welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Rowly back to striking distance. Axl throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Chavez. Julio Chavez hits an uppercut to the head of Axl Rowly followed by a hard hook. A welt begins to form under Chavezs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Rowly. Julio Chavez throws a push kick. Rowly shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Julios nose.
After dodging a jab-cross, Axl lands a kick to the liver of Julio who steps back and begins to take a knee. Axl rushes forward to capitalize but Julio stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. A spinning back kick leaves Julio stumbling back and clutching his side. Chavez hits an uppercut to the head of Rowly followed by a hard hook. Rowly throws a teep backing Chavez off. The bell signals the end of round 3.
