Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "the nature boy" lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Poncho Torres clinches with Lejeune and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Lejeune for a trip takedown, landing Poncho Torres is half guard. Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "the nature boy" takes Justin Lejeunes back standing. Justin isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "the nature boy" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Justin to release. Lejeune connects with a hard punch making "the nature boy" bring him in to a tight clinch. Lejeune is jockeying for position in the clinch. While in the clinch Torres attempts a knee to the leg of Justin Lejeune but is quickly tossed to the ground with a Kouchi Gaeshi technique. Torres scrambles right back to the feet. Round 3 "the nature boy" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Lejeune. Justin Lejeune throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Justin Lejeune grabs the plum and pulls Torress face into a powerful knee. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Torres receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Lejeune. In the clinch Justin Lejeune wraps his arm around the back of the head of Poncho and hip tosses him over to his back with a Koshi Guruma throw. Justin Lejeune takes side control. Poncho Torres takes a few knees to the body while under Justins side control. "the nature boy" sweeps over Justin Lejeune and quickly obtains mount position. The round comes to an end.
