Round 1 Ausage takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Hammonds guard. Hammond is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Mika. Hammond attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Dan Hammond gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Dan Hammond tries to explode out the backdoor but Ausage sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Dan Hammond falls flat to protect himself. Dan Hammond is able to make it back to the standing position. Dan Hammond grabs a single leg and pushes Mika Ausage to the fence. Both fighters are jockeying for positional control. Dan Hammond switches to a double leg but Mika Ausage does a good job of keeping his base. Dan Hammond gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Ausage grabs the plum and pulls Dan Hammonds face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Ausage lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Dan attempts a takedown but slips, and Mika Ausage backs away. Mika Ausage is standing over Dan. Ausage stands over Hammond, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Hammond is able to grab an arm and pull Ausage into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Dan winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Ausage blocks a tight hook from Hammond and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Hammond stumbling backwards. Ausage stalks him across the canvas. Mika Ausage connects with a hard punch making Hammond bring him in to a tight clinch. Dan Hammond recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Dan Hammond narrowly dodges a cross from Mika, but falls catching him in his guard. Ausage sits up in Dans open guard and spins to an leg lock. Dan is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Mika Ausage narrowly dodges a cross from Dan Hammond, but falls catching him in his guard. Mika Ausage powers out sweeping Hammond with pure strength. Mika Ausage is now in side control. Mika Ausage lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Dan takes a few knees to the body while under Mikas side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 A wild hook from Ausage is ducked by Hammond who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Mika Ausage throws a push kick. Dan Hammond shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Ausages nose.
Mika Ausage gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Dan peppers Ausage with several shots to the face. Ausage is able to make it back to the standing position. Dans legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Mika Ausage is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Dan Hammond. Dan Hammond now has side control. Round 3 is over.
